0.7% Campaign - Together Against Poverty

"0,7% - Together Against Poverty" is a Swiss campaign supported by more than 60 Swiss development cooperation, women's, youth and environmental organisations, as well as churches, and trade unions. Intercooperation supports this campaign.

We have come together to demand that Switzerland, one of the world's richest countries, makes a stronger commitment towards reaching the UN's Millennium Development Goals. Every person in this world has the right to live in dignity.

To mark the Millenium Development Goals' symbolic half-way point (2000-2015), and to raise awarness in Switzerland, the campaign organised a festival which took place on 07.07.07 at the "Bundesplatz" in Berne (in french).
