NUHDA (National Union of Horticulture Development in Afghanistan)
Description
The aim of NUHDA is to support growers, traders and exporters through the development of appropriate legislations and national policies as well as by providing a wide range of supportive services, including market information and export promotion.
The objectives and purpose of the Union are to provide supportive services to members that include, but are not limited to:
- Reseraching and debating issues in relation to horticulture in Afghanistan and proposing practical policy actions for and alongside national and regional Government
- Developing specific activities and services that will support horticultural growers, buyers and Government
- Encouraging investments anf other finance into the Afghan horticultural sector
- Encouraging programs for increasing natianal and export horticultural produce sales
