ITTO-CORNARE-EMPA (ITTO-CORNARE-EMPA Project)
Description
Expertise on restoration and rehabilitation of tropical forest within the scope of the project "alternative financing model for sustainable forest management in San Nicolas - second phase: non-Kyoto rehabilitation areas" of ITTO, CORNARE and EMPA St. Gallen. Countries of assignment: Switzerland and Colombia.
Within the scope of the ITTO-CORNARE-EMPA project, EMPA leads activities, which seek to integrate social, scientific and technical aspects of the establishment of sustainable managment practices in tropical forest within the implementqation of financing instruments that reflect the value of forest products and services.
