Forest Governance Workshop Durban (Support for the UNFF Africa Forest Governance Workshop in Durban, South Africa)
Description
The Governments of South Africa and Switzerland are hosting a workshop on Forest Governance and Decentralisation in Africa. The workshop is planned as a country-led initiative in support of the UNFF and wil be held in Durban, South Africa, from 8th-11th of April 2008. Countries, especially sponsoring countries are important partners of this initiative, and the co-hosts are welcoming other country partners and partner organisations to be involved into and to contribute to the initiative. Intercooperation will be supporting the co-hosts logistically in the following fields: pooling and forwarding financial means, providing services in relation to managing the funds to support the host country, mandating translator/interpreter team, mandating event manager, participate in the local organizing committee on logistical matters, upon request of the host country.
